You can rest assured that, working with Deerwood Technologies, you will enjoy the latest services, technology and developments in the industry. ----------------- Staff Info ---------------- Jim Mayne has 23+ years of enterprise Technology Infrastructure Management experience with a variety of major financial institutions, including Twin City Federal, IDS Financial Services, American Express and Ameriprise Financial. He founded Deerwood Technologies in 2000 to meet the technology needs of growing businesses across greater Minnesota. Jim has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas; a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota; an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification and is a certified Microsoft Small Business Specialist. He is a member of the Aitkin, Cuyuna Range and Brainerd Lakes Chambers of Commerce, Secretary/Treasurer of the Leader's Edge Business Networking International (BNI) Chapter, is an active member of both the Deerwood American Legion and the Brainerd Area Sertoma Club. He has been a member of the Computer Measurement Group (CMG) for over 20 years, has served on its board of directors and on many conference and organizational committees. He and his wife, Sheila, enjoy various activities and outdoor events with their grandchildren, children and their extended family and friends in the Deerwood and Brainerd Lakes area. Jim's experience with small, medium and large businesses enables his firm to provide technology solutions tailored to each environment, business owner and business goal or strategy. Thomas Johnson has more than 10 years experience in the IT industry. He has a wide array of knowledge and experience including Point-of-Sale, a variety of Industrial IT solutions, including equipment and process data management systems, Telecommunications systems, Mail-enabled Applications and Backup Solutions. Tom has worked in various IT roles including: Helpdesk Technician, Lead Technician, and System Support Analyst. Tom has an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking from Mesabi Range Community and Technical College. He also holds a CompTIA A+ certification, is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. Other areas of focus include server/desktop support and maintenance, network design and implementation, database management and application training and documentation. As an IT professional, Tom has experience working with a wide range of customers and has a long standing reputation for great customer service. Tom enjoys living in the Brainerd Lakes area, along with his wife, Heather. Karin Hurry has 15+ years experience in technology service industries. She has developed and managed service delivery processes and organizations for two technology companies. Previously, Karin has performed network administration and PC/Network technician roles and was a partner in a successful Small Business Consultancy practice. Karin is Deerwood Technologies' office manager, supports sales and marketing, and also oversees our Service Desk and Service Management activities. Karin is very customer-focused and brings significant skills in business automation, service management, as well as, financial analysis and accounting. Clayton Preisinger has over 5 years experience in varied IT areas, including mainframe software testing for the Defense Finance Accounting Service and testing networking and telephony software for Sprint. He has experience configuring/maintaining desktops, servers, switches and other networking components. His other areas of focus include digital graphics production and website design. Clayton served four years in the United States Marine Corps where he wrote and tested accounting and budgeting software for the Department of Defense. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa, FL. Clayton was born and raised in the Brainerd Area and recently moved back to the area from Tampa, Florida. ----------------- Community Events ---------------- Deerwood Technologies is committed to excellence not only in the workplace but also in the community.
